After 5 years – Long term test at Brista

Indheater and TrainAlliance conducting long term test and comparing our system with wire heating.
After 5 years operational the indheater complete system is still running without disruption or any replacement of components.

The melting capacity and the rapid of heating capability are impressive.
The rapid heating also makes weather control and gear position control really effective, which providing significant energy savings.

The comparison/measurement made against the traditional wire-heated switch, with weather control, also shows that the Indheater switch has approximately 20,000 kWh lower electricity consumption than the wire-heated switchgear each year during the 5-year period. This means that the electricity savings, annually and over time, are over 60%.
